ABOUT THE GAME

Several hundred years ago, a cataclysmic catastrophe nearly ripped your galaxy apart – an unsurmountable ring of torn hyperspace fabric appeared in the center of the galaxy, which normal hyperspace engines can’t overcome.

Since this event nobody has managed to get near the central regions of the galaxy. All you know is that this event also spawned multiple unsurmountable hyperspace rifts throughout the entire galaxy, and that a strange race of aliens, the Xsotan, has appeared in the center. It looks like these aliens have found a way to surpass the torn hyperspace fabric, but so far nobody has managed to establish contact with them.

There are also rumours about a strange new metal called ‘Avorion’, which has appeared in the center of the galaxy, around the same time as the Xsotan arrived. Apparently the aliens use this material to build their ships.

Start out as a nobody at the edge of the galaxy and work your way to the center of a galaxy that gets more dangerous, but also more rewarding the closer you get to its core. Avorion takes sandbox aspects from games like X or Freelancer, throws in co-op multiplayer and lets you build your own ships. It features ships made of freely scalable blocks that can be procedurally generated and that break into pieces where they’re hit in space fights.

love it

snfb3idg4sk bzbzb says:

When you put in the 3-5 items of highest quality it gives you something you need to progress in the main story/quest line

k-dog y says:

first

Ragnar Rock says:

This is so much fun to watch. You really make it interesting. I’m getting very tempted to pick this up myself. Please keep the series going.

snfb3idg4sk bzbzb says:

Lol, kicks. You don’t have a shield yet. You need to build a shield generator on ship to get a shield. Without a shield the shield upgrades you are using are doing nothing but consuming energy

Niall Allen says:

I bought this because of you! I just lost 10 hours of my life 😀

k-dog y says:

hi man i love content it’s always entertaining to watch your videos thank you!

zak abdullah says:

second

blooper74 says:

That number is your current maximum energy amount, upgrade your batteries and you should be able to store more energy as you make it.

Adam Bauckham says:

BTW look out for some Asteroids cause you can claim them and sell them for decent Credits.

Vik Ing says:

The area at the end (the cloudy, peaceful looking area) might have been the aftermath of a super nova?

Not sure.

k-dog y says:

and i absolutely love your accent

Daeion108 says:

Need shields to use the booster. First time you can make a shield generator is when you get Naonite

the artist formally known as craig lastname says:

Can you land on planets in this game?

t etheredge says:

Another thing you can do is go to a ship building factory and make a second ship that has its own commander. You can then issue it a command to mind and it goes out and collects for you. Pays for itself.

Games4Kickz More game hints:

1) DON’T BE AFRAID TO DIE! When you die, you go back to the starting sector and spawn in the mining drone. You keep any metals you harvested that are listed in the top left corner. You also keep any turrets and systems you’ve collected, but did not affix to your ship. You obviously lose the ship, crew, attached upgrade systems and turrets, and any cargo you have in the hold. If you have an insurance policy on your ship, you will spawn a new ship. The biggest penalty to dying is getting booted back to the starting sector and having to start over. But, in the beginning, it’s not that bad.

2) MORE SHIPBUILDING TIPS:
2.1) Strip your ship and start back at the core. Yeah, it’s a neat little ship, but your ship isn’t going to do much but maybe mine. (And get underfoot when the Xsoltan attack.)
2.2) Build generator and battery blocks at the core of your ship. There are blocks that generate and store power. You need to build them, and best to put them at the heart of your ship. Batteries help when the load exceeds your power production.
2.3) If you have the titanium, build the Titanium Integrity field Generators. This gives your blocks more HP.
2.4) DON’T PASS ON THE ARMOR BLOCKS! Yes, it makes your ship slower, but you only need a thin layer to protect your ship. Trust me, you’ll want to armor your bacon. It will help!
2.4) You’re probably going to want to mine a bit before you update that ship. Look for around 10K Iron, at least 5K Titanium for power systems and integrity blocks, and at least 50K in credits.

3) Crew: There are two types of crew:
3.1) Generic Crew. These are the guys you get when you need a warm body in a pinch. They count for ONE person in the requirements, and (As far as I know) don’t level up or become specialists, ever. They’re cheaper to hire, BUT they’ll cost the same in pay as specialists when you assign them.
3.2) Specialized Crew: These guys are pricier to purchase, but cost the same in pay as generic crew once assigned. Specialists count for more than a general crew assigned to the same slot. (Like two engineers accounts for three general crew assigned to engineering.) They also level up for better ship bonuses in their field.

4) Mining: Try not to sell off your metals, unless you really need the cash. Then work top down (Dump iron over titanium, titanium over naonite, etc.) You should be making money by trading cargo and stomping the pirates and Xsotan. (Yeah, the trading system is borked, since the RNG generated universe doesn’t make it clear trade routes for buying and selling stuff.

Cipher Blaze says:

XD should add more cannon in each game I always concentrated on firepower and speed.

Michael Carroll says:

I think your problem with updating the energy produced is your battery cap

snfb3idg4sk bzbzb says:

You can use the mining and salvaging lasers as weapons if you want but they don’t do as much damage as actuall weapons most of the time. Some do thought so make sure to always check the stats

SATAMOTO :D says:

MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sry caps* ……………. but more

Khurune says:

I’m gonna have to get hold of this. loving your bird of prey look a like :p

Luther Neko says:

hey been watching for awhile funny as shit

Quickshot Nick says:

Not sure if it’s your style but have you ever looked into mount and blade? I know it’s not the survival games you play and all but it seems in depth and could be enjoyable to you. But hey this is my opinion.

Sowel 44 says:

I need this game.. Can’t wait to get the spare cash to pick it up.
I wish you could got first person and use a flight stick set up.
