More early alpha Space Haven gameplay! We start mining asteroids to refine stuff to let us expand our spaceship.

In this Alpha Soup video we continue building our ship in the early alpha demo of Space Haven gameplay as this new colony builder begins a Kickstarter campaign at the end of February 2019.

We’re having to dodge bugs and general early-alphaness, but we’re still able to expand our ship with new toilets, storage, a shuttle bay and a mining pod bay. This’ll mean learning how to mine in Space Haven, sending out crew to chosen asteroids to gather as much raw material as possible to refine on the ship.

We go onto building a bridge and thrusters in this Space Haven gameplay video, although some of our colonists are getting a bit bugged and stuck in the walls! (The demo is getting frequent updates, so this should improve.)

I spent the second half waiting to see if he would realize its a pathing issue with where the door in the bathroom is, the beds on the other side are too close together and they can’t pass it. Adding a door between one of the beds that are parallel with each other should fix the issue as they used that path when there was no wall.
