Dries DigiCult says:

codemasters are masters at creating smoke screens. They should get programming instead making all these hype-infused overexplained marketing video’s. They havent been able to produce a single version of f1 that was even remotely close to a simulator. they still have to convince me. a die hard f1 fan, to buy their game again.

Nanderlizer Nanderlizer says:

whats the point in 1000hz suspension when your eyes can only see at 20fps? but seriously how does 1000hz help when the game runs at much lower frame rate?

klievurt says:

Just think he made all the previous cars without real car data. That’s nuts

Patrick Star says:

Makes me wonder how this game will run on controller this year.

Not all of us are rich kids who can afford a wheel and pedals, after all.

Joel Gratton says:

Avoid gloss black tires!! heyhey
Hope we really feel the tires temperature. really interested to play it.

dave kirk says:

“I can’t think of anything we don’t simulate” – PHYSICS AND HANDLING

Rhaegar Targaryan says:

codemasters made a good sim? LOL what ever.

Refueling Expert says:

If all racing games are going towards full on simulation I guess that’s the end of racing games for me because I won’t spend my hard earned money on a steering wheel just to be able to play a game.

wilica1 says:

Question – Does track evolution exist in these games?

Arth Glob says:

TL;DR : No it is not.

Whippy Racing says:

i’d love to play it, but without vr im not interested

Breezy Blue says:

This is cool and all, but have you seen the new damage model in iRacing, that shit looks sexy af.

S Pri says:

No triple screen support?, no VR? … please….

Gabriel Oliver says:

Maybe it’ll be a good idea to underfuel the car this year cause’ it seems like they fuel mixture doesn’t matter that much when ERS is making such a huge difference…

Jordy1707 says:

Just making the game fun whilst being a challenge with the assists off, I still want to be able to play a game without it being tedious

tangles01 says:

Had me going until her war right foot braking…. No sim race or single seat racer right foot brakes in a 2 pedal setup.

Angery Pete says:

They’ve eradicated 1-11 wing meme setups? Thank god! That shit annoyed the hell out of me.

Deploracle says:

It cannot be a simulator when the devs IGNORE VR.

Zac Casey says:

Does anyone know if the will update the front wing of the mclaren in a patch

Antonio vieira freitas says:

Tem eliminar cheaters
Ao menos escanear 2 primeiros colocados.

RBicaify says:

but does the ai still pit 1 lap before the end like fools?

JJ Jay says:

Can we play f1 2018 normale with a controller?

Gabriele Nitti says:

hate how UE4 looks… these afwul lighter spots on the edges of meshs. every surface looks like a damn mirror, even tires! Rubber tires ffs! and omg how is there so much light in the cockpit?

Ric Reborn says:

nossa, esse maluco ali é BR

Timothy Entin says:

You legit just copy and pasted their video and slapped your name on it, the fuck man. How would you feel if I took your video, said some words before it and after it and uploaded it.

mrtheoden says:

the problem with this Ben is that it encourages the same shit that is happening in F1 – too much technology that hampers and impacts on actual racing.

Bring the bloody racing back.

Zorglub Z says:

In 2017 it was much more arcade then sim. The tire and suspension physics were too simplified and felt wonky,
Also it cannot be considered a sim without VR. You need to train and warp how the brain perceives distances to drive in 2D…. Like steering wheels,VR is becoming a necessity for sims.
Add to that the fact that the t-cam looks so arcadey…but hey it helps with the 2D….

James Stewart says:

I see they’ve managed to retain that amazing screen tearing effect from the original f1 2010. Great job codies.

Nock says:

No tyre flex……again.

aarevalo3 says:

In previous F1 games, they leaned to an arcade style more than a simulator. Looking at this developer diary, it seems like F1 2018 is a big step up from the last recent games, pursuing for a more simulator-like feel. Although F1 2018 isn’t a full sim due to either: not having enough budget, teams not willing to incorporate every single aspect of their cars, or needing to appeal to gamepad users, I can happily say that F1 2018 is a simcade. Maybe in the coming years Codemasters will improve on the simulation of their cars.

I’m so hyped for this game, god damn.

HenniZockt77_lp says:

So he is driving f1 with 3 pedals??!

Partypaddo says:

Do you really need a Wheel setup for the game? My set is broken and can’t play on that anymore so i need to play it with the controller.

It sucks that i probably can’t race for one consecutive hour because of health issues in my shoulder

Joel Gratton says:

11:35 to 11:41 that’s what i want to see graphics wise

ToastmitSchoko says:

Hopefully you can still compete in League racing without having to buy a wheel… Otherwise I just wont have fun playing it.

Cake Doge says:

Thank to this guy. This is why the game is improving and turning into a sim after he joined Codies.

lolschrauber says:

It’s not a hardcore simulator. It’s not ultra unrealistic arcade. As usual. Why do people always ask this? Codemasters most likely won’t change the game completely.

Naradhipati Andaru says:

the halo looks liike handrails in game :DD

Bartosz Opiełka says:

From title i was scared that this game will be unplayable with controller xd.

C32 Edits says:

Its always the same with Codemasters F1 games. Overhyped as fuck to get a shit game with horrible graphics and glitches/bugs. They havent produced a decent game since F1 2013. I’ll give it to them, out of all racing games I played, their games have the best handling, but the rest? Dog shit…
