Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. The game is scheduled for release in North America on March 21, 2017 and in Europe on March 23. It will be the fourth entry overall in the Mass Effect series and the first since Mass Effect 3 (2012). The game begins within the Milky Way Galaxy during the 22nd century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. The player assumes the role of either Sara or Scott Ryder, an inexperienced military recruit who joins the Initiative and wakes up in Andromeda following a 600-year journey.

we all clicked on the video so what do you think bud.

TimBurkeu1osis says:

To clarify, you can begin the game as a specific profile available to you that is selected during character creation.

DisjointWinter says:

Anyone notice that the blue circle around the profile picture has the same number of filled segments as the profile rank? If I’m right, every profile should have 6 ranks.

G. Mitchell says:

Regarding weight, I think it works a little differently from ME3. In screenshots that show the weight bar, there is a black line, usually about a third across from the left. Any time the bar is filled to less than that line, recharge speed is listed as 100%, and it goes into the red, with a negative value when it goes right of that line.

Note that it’s 100%, not +100%. Not a bonus.

I think this means anything up to the character’s weight capacity has no effect on cooldowns, but exceeding this slows (increases) cooldowns times.

This would make for a different strategy from ME3, where for most classes, the best strategy was to carry only one weapon to keep your cooldown bonus at or near 200%. With this bonus removed, the intended strategy of one rapid fire weapon (for shields and barriers) and one slow, high damage (for armor) one makes more sense. There’s no reason not to carry multiple weapons if going light conveys no bonus.

Nicholas Cahill says:

Hey JV! Should I play the other 3 games before playing this one?? I’m a big dragon age fan so I think I’ll like Mass Effect as well

yung // chink™ says:

As long as they have the Harrier were set.

Legion 774 says:

submachine guns are still in the game. they are just added together with pistols.

Kitty Of Shadows says:

Sub machine guns are now in the pistol category.

Arbiter Of demons says:

will the keinect for xbox still work like it did in me3

blackvial says:

The profiles kind of remind me of the Fate Card system from Kingdoms of Amalur

Mike Pettella says:

I’m so hyped for this game. I don’t want it. I need it

GXV3 says:

I just threw my bottle of smart water© at the wall… I just heard that the UK will get Andromeda (23rd March) 2 days after America!! I know this is the standard but GRRRRRRRR lol.. ill be way behind you all.
I’ll just hibernate for 2 days 🙂

sketch book says:

Six is the max level for profiles. You can tell by the lit up parts of the circle.

Sarah lee says:

I’m so hyped for this game I think I may be more excited for this than any of the other mass games!

These games are training us for the future.
Future earth will be invaded, these will be your skills.

Kleptonic says:

I know I’m playing more of a stealthy sniper type maybe with some powers

cody morris says:

Everything sounds awesome, but then there is the one snag. The main character has official background info. This is not good I do not like this. This is the same problem i had with fallout 4 and why i think Fallout new vegas was superior.

redinel0 says:

Not happy about 3 active skills.. Plus each time you swap a profile all skills go on a cooldown.

The Real Ryan Reynolds says:

This sounds a whole lot like what Bethesda pulled with Skyrim, that kinda blew up in their face. To shed some light, Bethesda had the same idea of you can be whatever you want and you have no set path. This made the game hard to replay because you could go through every bit if content in one playthrough. It really worries me, not that Skyrim was a bad game, but I preffered Oblivions system of classes and birthsigns. 😉

Xi0rcaled says:

is it me or is medi-gel gone?

MrLcarter24 says:

I’m so looking forward to this game. I can hardly wait. This is one of those games I am going to be playing months on end, just like I did with Fallout 4.

Finimagig 17 says:

What are those orange barriers they look cool

Bryan Ruales says:

Who’s excited for Mass Effect Andromeda

Rokitmann says:

Great. I already overcame my Witcher 3 addiction, Now this comes along.

Ryan Taffe says:

the last time I was this hyped before a game came out was Fallout 4, and before that Witcher 3. love this feeling but also hate it. March 21st where you at

Christopher Hernandez says:

I honestly haven’t been this excited for a game in a long freaking time 😀
