Take control of a settlement of the first modern humans, guide them through the ages in their struggle for survival.
Dawn of Man is a survival/city-builder from the creators of Planetbase.
The game starts in the Stone Age, and takes you up to the Iron Age, spanning more than 10,000 years of human prehistory.
You will have to get your people to survive, expand and evolve, just like our ancestors, facing the challenges that the environment will throw at you.

Animals were a vital source of food and resources for ancient humans. Use their meat to feed your people and their skin and bones to make clothing and craft the tools you will need to stay alive. Confront Mammoths, Wholly Rhinos, Ancient Bison, Megaloceros, Cave Lions and other species that roamed the earth at the time.

Collect a variety resources from the environment, fruit, berries, water, wood, flint, stone, ores. Use them to prepare food, to make tools and to build structures in your settlement.

🔹 Let’s Play Anno 1880 (Closed Beta)

🔹 Let’s Play Tropico 6

Hallowed Queen says:

We never really lived in caves. We were more like nomadic travelers. We had huts and houses that we could disassemble and move as we follow the herds.

kingnator_NZ says:

Hey be careful what u hunt try go after adult males if you hunt females and juvenile they can go extinct also religion is good for your village morale. Also don’t over work your villagers else they’ll become unhappy also. I know you like to do that haha. Awesome video hope you do more thanks

skybirds says:

This looks really fun! Please continue it!

Ultra Pancakes says:

This game looks so cool! Can’t wait to get it!

Sampo Massala says:

I love this game saw it on zerkaa but he only posted three episodes of it. Thx for starting to post this game

chris Alexander says:

I was thinking of buying it but 20 quid is quite a lot

Savannah Williams says:

Do you think having a few fishing spots down the river could help? Like, would the AI know to visit a full one vs a depleted one. Or is it better to manually move one spot up and down the river to continuously have good fish coming in?

Also love the game and can’t wait to see you play more!

Catherine Thiveos says:

whats the price of this game on steam?

Sparky says:

Game looks cool

Sir XtC says:

“im comig fresh to this game too ” knows how to do evrything right away

Sid DeHound says:

Nearly bought this then remembered I bought Ark Survival in a Steam sale ages ago !

The biggest difference between a spear and a harpoon is that the blade on a harpoon is designed to go right through a fish, then the jagged edges act as a way of keeping the fist on the harpoon when you lift it out of the water… Spears are just for throwing at animals. Not much point trying to lift a giant moose on a stick, right?

1999Mikee says:

I don’t know about this game. If a gamer needs to speed things up in order to enjoy it, that means it lack content to make it interesting at regular speed. Also, can one fish in the game? Don’t see any fishes in the river. Also can one gather wild fruits and berries?

Luis Rodríguez says:

As an animal lover, I struggle with the hunting on this game. The game is neat tho, I saw Keralis videos too, he can sell this type of games easily
PS. Build more haunts, so more people can move in or be born, so more workforce (just like Anno games)

TheFireheart94 says:

this looks exactly like Banished that was released years ago. Only difference is i it has a tech tree.

Simey says:

MrKurzio says:

Am I the only one finding this game quite boring? There is almost nothing we haven’t seen so far

Nathan Creek says:

The megaloceros are Irish Elk

Luuk v/d Meeren says:

I think they only craft spears for the entire population, and you already have 9 spears so they don’t craft any more bone spears

Christian Ståhle says:

Game looks good, not sure I would want my food next to the tanning station though 😉

Han Lockhart says:

A lot of historical stuff missed out in this game. Guess they don`t want to upset the pc crowd, Pity, I thought it might actually be educational. Looks nice, like they all do.

Richard G. says:

Not sure if you’ve found it out already, but there is a way to set limits for the various resources of the game! By default, for auto-production, everything will be made until you have one tool/good per capita. You can play around with increasing and decreasing limits in one of the panels if you for instance want to have extra tools to sell to the trader. Good video!

Sluggish Gaming says:

I’ve been looking forward to this game!

Oscar Ulate says:

A paleolithic resource administration game, sweet! Gotta love it

Mr. Pug says:

This looks really cool!

Drakeo 66 says:

I think the game is really good but i don’t know if you have notice but my village started to get bigger so i would all them to do jobs but half of them wouldn’t do it and yes if your going to ask i did have a enough people and storage but it was really annoying me just wanted know if you had the same problem.

Leon D says:

Great video, but not really for me. I enjoyed the slow-paced/challenging gameplay of Planetbase, but there’s just something about this game that puts me off.

Brianna Daniels says:

I’ve been looking for a game like this for a while! I hadn’t heard of the game ’til now, and honestly wasn’t too impressed. But I just checked it out on Steam and I am loving more of the end-game stuff. I might pick it up!

kimmy j says:

this game is a copy/paste of banished
